My friend Jason McNiff and the band Songdog have just covered Mr Mudd and Mr Gold for a TVZ tribute album. I think Danny George Wilson from Grand Drive/ Danny& The Champions of the World are on it too. I managed to see an early Lemonheads gig in the late 80's when they were touring with Bullet LaVolta. It was a great gig made even more legendary when I found out years later that Kenny Chambers was playing that night in BLV. I was a massive fan of Moving Targets.

@pelicanmouse Basically anyone that ever covers a Townes song or draws more attention to the man is a righteous dude in my book. I didn't know much about him myself until I heard 'Waiting Around To Die' by The Be Good Tanyas. A lot of my Americana buddies in London, Greg Harrisburg, Benjamin Folke Thomas, Trent Miller and Dan Raza are huge Townes fans.
