I think its more about dreams and strange rituals, spiritual Ecstasy( albeit through sacrificing blood and being bound and blinded). a weird juxtaposition of worshiping sacred feminine aspects through a supposedly submissive subject. she really seems like she's enjoying herself. I could be totally wrong about it, i mean its art so is probably interpreted differently by everyone.

These people are psychopaths...

my take on it? it'll be a Junguian interpretation, which has stayed with me since i first heard the whole album: that woman is what Jung calls 'the anima', kinda like a male's unconscious female side, i.e., one of many archetypes hidden in the psyche. the anima is, according to social prejudices concerning gender, the artistic-hypersensitive side. maybe that's why this girl's painting? but those masked men are neurotic or psychotic, that may be why they're forcing creation using her blood. ?!?

The Monkey sits with the two masked women. Must be the President. No that isn't racial so don't go there. The Monkey just goes along with what they do. Also why are people calling it a rock? It has fur on it.
Drag the cursor thing to 1:33 . I didn't actually watch the video, so correct me if i'm wrong, but is that a rock with a vagina? I'm totally just asking.

@boysarefun I know littel of the Lips, but my first guess: The "painter" is deliriously happy but also blinded, representing everyday people. She's giving her blood, aka her life, a little at a time to thieves (hence their masks). They wear nice outfits while the painter wears the bare minimum; they represent execs or the rich. Having duped the painter into delirium, they use her life to feed an insatiable, mysterious machine, aka economy or bureacracy, because they're afraid to let it die..
