As one of the Marines who assisted during this tragedy, I am operating the front loader at 4:05 in this video, I often think of the survivors and the community and wonder what came of all this.

sa kabialng banda masisi din natin ang mga tao kasi sa mga ginagawa nila sa kalikasan, ibang tao kasi iniisip lang ang kanilang kapakanan basta lang magkapera , pinupotol ang mga kahoy kaya ang kalikasan na din ang naningil..

nkaka-iyak..., actualy im from s0.leyte also pro na sa maynila po ako nung time na yun... ngaun ko lng nlman na npakarami po plang mga taong ngtutulongan during that time(rescue) hindi lng po pilipino kun pati mga dayuhan..., but sad to say na in times likes this may ng-cocoment p rin ng gntong klase about kurakot!!!! actualy hindi yn 22o, i agree with summerbreakers..., 2mtulomg n nga yung tao pg-sasabihan mo pa ng gnun??? hwag nman gnyan bka mgagalit c bro.

It is easy to say that...because you were not there, WHO do you mean to say na kaako pa smile in front of international media?
To be FAIR with those who helped and tried hard during the tragedy, please provide us with a PROOF that will justify your claim that their was corruption. Hindi 'yung puro paninira na lang ang maibibigay mo na comment dito.

yup, you're right! The overwhelming and outpouring of support from different countries, and different entities gave the survivors of this tragedy the strength and the reason to accept their fate.
