I think it is perfectly reasonable to bar women in head scarves from sitting behind Obama during a widely broadcast speech. This is a matter of damned if you do and damned if you don't. It's not about the women, per se, it is about the current stupidity of American society; many suffer from Islamophobia. When many Americans believe the dap was a terrorist code between Michelle and Barack Obama, can anybody blame the campaign for not courting further trouble?

@VicAzcro Why was Ali a coward? Cause he didn't sign up? Did he sign up, and refuse the draft or did he not sign up. Since he claimed clergy exemption as a Muslim clergyman he had to sign up.

Much like Cheney who never served, and Bush who didn't show up for a whole year. Like all the brave chicken hawks who never served.

I showed up where I was supposed to when I was supposed to and did what I was supposed to every day for 4 years. Bush couldn't do it 1 weekend a month and two weeks a year.

Obama's campaign barred women in Islamic Headscarves from being in camera range because people like you will blow up anything to trash Obama.

The woman you showed not only supported Obama after the incident, but she ran his campaign volunteer operation in Toledo. She interviewed me when I volunteered to work for the campaign, and talked to me about the incident. Yes, she knew it was because of people like you.

As to NAFTA, Obama was right the first time. NAFTA has been a disaster for the US.

If they really do support Obama they would know of all the problems he's had with Republicans trying to label him a muslim, they would know that insisting on wearing a hijab and sitting behind Obama would hurt the candidate they "supposedly support"

Well, you sorta said it right there: The media. They've actually tried to make scandal about this with all three of the candidates. They tried early on with Hillary's Pastor, they've been and [Faux "News] are still talking about Wreverend Wright, and they worked briefly with McCain and John Haggee.
