I remember when I thought that Diablo 2 was going to suck compared to D1.. I was wrong.

I remember when I saw people saying Diablo 3 is going to suck compared to Diablo 2... They are going to be wrong as well.

I played every inch of Diablo II, and I've been watching a lot of DIII beta videos.

D3 so far is DARKER than DII.

DII was very bright and colourful with high contrast in most of the areas of the game.

@Hermus Maybe you're right. I actually watched alot of Beta vids now in HQ and I'm kinda starting to like it. It actually looks more like an upgraded version of D2 in terms of Graphics. But nostalgia is still there. But I am still anxious to receive the beta key none the less.

@luckyStrike89ru i never said i was talking about quality. but seriously dude, thats nostalgia talking. lightning in D3 sounds a shitload more realistic and better. Also to that BS about the "diablo feel", seriously, whats not giving you the Diablo feel here? it looks dark and gritty, the music is perfect. The game play is bascially the same, just easier and more smooth. The only reason you think this is not Diablo, is because ur too nostalgic. Nothing would live up to ur expectations.

@DeathIIV the point is that after 3 years work it still looks faggotronic in many parts of the game. It doesnt have a Diablo feel. Does it to you? Maybe its because I didnt play yet but I've seen many beta streams so far in HD, it does seems fun, but it looks like a whole different game in terms of atmosphere. Its too....... colorful and anime like, I dont know.

@Hermus I'm not talking about the quality, but about HOW it sounds. In D1 it sounded more explosive with electricity like thunder, here the lighting sounds like a fart with electricity, too soft and gay like in WoW. Almost every skill.

Look at my previous post to this. The point is that spell sounds sound more bad ass in D1 and D2, in D3 they sound gay but look really fancy. Gotta have the whole baggage to win the franchise fans and I'm one of them, played D since I was 10 and that was D1.
