In this week's installment of IRC Voices, Gerry Martone, director of humanitarian affairs, reflects on his 15 years with IRC -- a career that has taken him from Bosnia to the halls of the United Nations, where he is a fierce advocate for refugees, displaced people and the victims of war. Martone has visited - and worked - in nearly every country where IRC has programs but as he describes here, he was especially moved by the difficulties of Darfur's displaced.
