I Do Declare

The Pearson Foundation is underwriting a tour of a rare, original copy of the Declaration of Independence, which will visit several winning schools which took part in last Novembers National Student/Parent Mock Election. The first visit took place in June at the New Jersey State Museum, where Gov. Jon Corzine praised the states students for the impressive scope of their voter education and mock election campaigns. The Mock Election was set up to encourage students to learn about the election process and to feel empowered to vote when they are older. This video documents the NJ festivities
