Anyone that eats that many yellows/oranges should be able to take down a /shield scrapper or tank, when a major part of there survivability comes from defense.
To be honest, without you chugging all those insps I think the brute would have won. I would suggest working tough/resilience into your build if you find yourself lacking survivability. But to eat 4 yellows in a duel against a dm/shield is just unfair
