What makes Mitt so electable exactly? He lost to Ted Kennedy in 94, became Gov. of Mass with less than 50% of the vote in 2002, didn't run again in 2006 because his approval rating was in the thirties, lost the 2008 presidential primary, and this time around, has at one time or another, been behind Donald Trump, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, and Newt Gingrich. How does anyone look at that record and conclude he's particularly electable?
Newt lacks the morality to be elected. I would site the way he has treated is past wives. Rick is to far to the Right Fringe to be accepted my the majority of level-headed Americans. Ron Paul is too radical foe most conservatives, and yes you're right, Mitt lacks the personality. As of today the Republicans have not come up with ANY electable option.

@toddyhawk I highly doubt Ron Paul could beat Obama.

@toddyhawk Even if he does, we are still all fucked. There is no way he could get the legislation through to implement his agenda. He'd be far better of as Treasury Secretary.

I think Gingrich is going to fizzle after Super Tuesday. Regardless who our nominee is, we need to rally behind them. If Obama gets a second term, this country is over.

How is Newt Gingrich more electable than Mitt Romney? No less than Ann Coulter has written THREE columns dismantling Newt Gingrich. She says that Gingrich (1) is not a conservative (2) does not have a record of accomplishment to support his florid and biting speeches (like, oh, Obama) (3) had TWO divorces and had affairs while married. (4) Was forced out of the Speaker position for another Republican. Romney is flawed, but the notion that Gingrich is more electable is silly.
