Family Science Day UBC October 30 2010 A

On Saturday October 30, 2010 more than 150 children and adults from all over Vancouver gathered at the Scarfe Building (UBC Faculty of Education) to celebrate the First Family Science Day at the Faculty of Education at UBC. The event was part of the UBC wide Celebrate Learning Week. The success of the Family Science Day became possible thanks to tremendous support of the faculty, staff and student volunteers from the Faculty of Education and especially from the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy and the Teacher Education Office. The event featured 15 interactive science stations and a big science demonstration show. We hope to host the 2nd Family Science Show Day next year.
