  • Whenever I do the excersize at 0:39 I get a pain in the hip, is that bad? I did like 10 reps before it got too pain full.

  • @camo999999999 Any pain isn't good! But it depends where the pain is located and if you feel it on other movements etc as to what could be causing it.

  • hiii there, i'm a soccer player... i'm having this groin problems for the past 6 month, whenever i play soccer it hurt. Can you help me out any advice... thanks

  • @TheBigEuge If you haven't had an assessment then you should because groin injuries are very tricky and complex to diagnose and treat

  • I have a numbeness on my groin, like where the line of your groin and thigh slant downards, but a little to left on the right side of my body (lower groin). It doesnt hurt when i cough, i feel no bulge, its just a slight sensation, it feels like the size of a hardball. Ive had this for like a year or two, i dont know what it is. Any ideas?

  • @Yourmomishre Numbness is nerve related - so for some reason that area is feeling no sensation - meaning the nerve is not supplying it as it should. The most common cause of this (if there was no accident or anything that caused it) is compression of the nerve. This can be happening in the pelvis, buttock or lower back area.

  • @11Kdavid ...group experiences a huge amount of strain, gets through alot of work and generates a lot of power. So rest the area, be disciprined, it is hard, but worth it in the long run. I once ran 20 miles a week, played football 3 days a week, and worked out 4 days a week - then I injured my groin a year ago, continued to play on it, and now find myself in the position of having been able to do nothing for a year. rest it, be patient.

  • @11Kdavid you have to strengthen your groin with the exercises displayed in this video, certain ones will do more help to you, while others may do damage, for instance the resistance band example may cause secondary injury. Stop training as you once did, and stop playing, you must rest the groin and attempt not to put your abductor muscle group under excessive stretch. As an amateur athlete you think nothing of rapidly shifting direction/ axis of movement, when isolated the abductor muscle...

  • that resistance band would cause me agony, and I have not played sports for a year.

  • she has a great groin, I do not

  • helpful, thx! i wasn't sure if you were supposed to work it like this.
