@beefchops2011 I really do not think they are enjoying them selves would you let them tie you up and put you in front of a crowd to entertain someone for them to hit them with a whip (you can hear it in the background) i don't think any animal would enjoy this even though they were bred to do so.

Actually, these aren't Clydesdale, they're Belgians. Beautiful horses all the same.

You know what's even more cruel? Keeping an animal that is not only designed but bred to do heavy work out at pasture or in a stable all of the time.
These horses have been bred to work for centuries, and countless generations. This is the kind of stuff they enjoy. It's no different to them then it is for a border collie to herd, or for a blood hound to track.
If you actually watch them, you'll see that these horses are enjoying themselves.

@BobFiggleHorn1 Actually, horses like the Clydesdale don't **belong** in the wild seeing as that they never existed in the wild in the first place. Their ancestors did but the horses you know now never existed in the wild. Also, the word you are looking for is "torture", come one now, you're on the internet, take the the 10 seconds to look it up.

@homeaddition All of this animal entertainment is cruel for these wild animals all they want to do probably is go out in the wild and live a nirmal aniaml life and what gets me is dog fighting its so crual
point A: These are BELGIANS. Not Clydesdales. That's like comparing a Labrador to a Golden. Two completely different breeds.
Point B: To everyone that says this is "cruel." You wouldn't know the meaning of it. These horses LOVE to pulls. Belgians especially (which is also why at most pulling competitions you will only see Belgians.) and if they decide they don't want to pull, they don't. Each of those horses is at least 2,000lbs (a ton, LITERALLY) and they can pull up to twice their weight!

@BobFiggleHorn1 Torcher = One who gives light with a torch. I just taped it when I was at the show. I'm not a big fan of any type of animal tricks.

@homeaddition yes i get that but the torcher(sorry cant spell) i mean is like animal abuse when they were yelling at them and makeing them pull that heavy guy is ust mean to me let them be free there animals they were meant to be in the wild not kept to entertain any human being

@BobFiggleHorn1 I agree with you. I think zoo's, circus shows, bull fighting, and things of that nature are dumb cruel things that we (humans) do to animals for entertainment.
