Though not technically a final episode, this movie has to rank with MASH as having the best farewell to a series.

Now is it just me...or is anybody else wondering...of course I know, we ALL know that on Homicide, vests NEVER worked, everybody got shot despite having vests on. But STILL, Giardello knows public figures are at risk, and he's going to legalize drugs, why WOULDN'T he be wearing a vest? He really wouldn't think somebody would try taking a shot at him? That's what makes no sense whatsoever.

My Library recently got the whole 7 seasons-I am just about to start season 6.I have already seen several rather emotional situations.Just discovered this on youtube and am savmg it for after Season 7.I have read the comments here; DO I have More Emotional Scenes to shed tears over?On the other hand I love this Show! Even Luther Mahoney scares Me!!!!

Thank you SO much for posting. Since the movie never came out in Europe and or Region 2, the DVD is next to impossible to come by, and if you can get ahold of it, won't run on your system. I'm a big fan of the series, and this is a perfect conclusion.
