  • I have a Walker by Armi San Marco (Well actually I think mine is Army San Palo) But regardless do you know (IF I wind up having to replace a part on it) what company (If any's) Reproduction of a walker has compatable parts?

  • @john4knecht Uberti parts are all you are likely to find these days. I've used their wedges in my ASM Walkers, but I've never needed to replace anything else, so I can't say what will easily interchange. I've owned three ASP Navy replicas over the years and some parts from other manufacturers drop right in....others, not so much.

  • @duelist1954 Thank you kindly Duelist I Double checked it last night it's an ASM Walker. So Uberti parts it is which if what I heard is true makes sence. Some one told me that when ASM went defunked Uberti got the ownership rights to MOST of their Molds, Surplus, and so on.

  • @john4knecht ASM was bought by an American company called AWA (now also defunct). But AWA was only interested in the Single Action Army clones, so they may have sold off the C&B machining to Uberti, but I don't know that for a fact

  • I use Remington #10, which I find fit the best on my Uberti and recent Pietta guns. They were loose on the Walker...which was made by ASM 20+ years ago. I gave each cap a little pinch before putting them on and they stayed on just fine.

  • @duelist1954 they could just secure a small velcro strap to keep the ram rod from falling

  • @duelist1954 hi. at 10:21 how come you didnt put in the little round felt thing.

  • I find these ol' lead smokers to be more pleasing to the eye than the more modern firearms are. To me, they just seem to have more character to them. It's funny, I never really paid attention to the beauty in them until I started watching your videos, which btw, are very informative, well done and the best here on YouTube. Thanks for posting them for us to learn and admire.

  • my god, the gap between the cylinder and the barrel is huge, you should take a good look at that gun, something must be wery wrong with it.

  • I am absolutely fascinated by the Walker Colt video. I only have modern handguns and have never shot any black powder arms. I'm viewing some of your other videos (the patterson, dragoon, etc) and am afraid I've caught the "bug". I find the history of the gun as interesting as the gun itself. Thank you.

  • Huh, only 40 grains? Seems light. The 1860 takes that amount, seems like you might as well get that. Very fun putting a full 40 grains through the 1860. Very nice video, thank you!
