I never made the connection that fat in the cells was the reason the cells resisted insulin... WOW, big light bulb moment... gotta share!

No matter if promotors of vegan or not, they all agree to avoid highly refined, processed foods....

Aw, what a great presentation. Short, sharp and sweet. Of course I like it because I am mostly Vegan (pescatarian, living in Indonesia). But at 72 I am still riding 40km a day on a sports bicycle without tiring out, climbing, screwing, carrying on like I was 20 - while people 20 years younger are falling all around me. I feel like one of those magically protected WWI soldiers who stands on the front line, seeing all his mates get blown to bits, yet stays untouched. Diet is a large part of this.

The sooner the better. The best way to start is have a blood sugar test done before you start an all out near vegan diet style, Practice the diet stringently for a period of three months and do an after diet blood test . This gives you feedback and psychologically helps you accept the vast benefits of plant foods. Also, i would suggest reading Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, kind of answers your major questions. Best of efforts for a healthy life.

In my opinion, it depends on how mad you are. Arthritis in the spine at 25? Done. Cold turkey.
The less you eat daily or weekly of animal food and the more you eat daily or weekly of fruit and vegetables, the progressively better off you're going to be, assuming you're already mostly healthy and can give your body a chance to recover itself.

I have been doing my research on the whole food plant based diet and I would like to know if I should go all in and stop eating meat and dairy cold turkey? Should I start out slow with juicing and cutting out dairy products?

As I see it the specialist are basically saying eat a plant based diet of mostly carbohydrates. What I have a problem with is the Oil part. Because there is oil in peanut butter and nuts and alvacados. So should we not eat them. Also if you can't use any Oils won't it be hard to maintain this way of eating because I can understand cutting down on Oil, but what about taste everything will taste like cardboard.

What would indeed be novel is that if folks would simply view the material and read the additional resources rather than feeling compelled to push their incomplete belief based notions of what is proper on others here.
In the process of supporting a marvelous program are posited some of the most insane, erroneous, & just plain stupid notion ever - which are counterproductive to the message of the presentation & to what C.Campbell & C. Esselstyn have promoted.
