These continuity and idents are from 1992. There is a trailer for sunday night line up, bbc one ident (1991-1997) introducing Peter Rabbit and Friends. There is also an introduction for The Clothes Show and a trailer for a programme about the top xmas shows seen on British Television.

By far the best era for BBC branding and idents. It all looks so professional, pleasing to the eye and very very smooth. Today's aren't a patch on these.

As someone too young to remember this branding, the virtual globe hasn't aged well. It lacks the inventiveness of 2, or even charm of the old mirror globe. But I think we can all agree, it was better than COW from the 80s.

I Think BBC 2 premaired Our Animated Film "The Land Before Time" (1988) On 21st December 1992.

We recorded this showing of Peter Rabbit and Friends but didn't get any of the continuity surrounding it.

Out of interest, does anyone remember a drama about a boy and a reindeer that was also shown on this date? I can't remember much about it but I think it might have been a Teatime Drama

I think just about everything looked professional in the early 90s... aside from the afros, of course. Colour schemes, fashion, style, idents and branding... all very well professional don't ya think?

i remember these idents vaguely. i was only a baby and toddler when i last saw these. then came the balloon
