Went to Brighton for my first trip to the UK (I m french) and I LOVED IT, beautifull city, lot of shops and fun stuff to do.
Which I could have been there with my camera to take shots of this nice storm :)

Pretty awesome! I was in Brighton in Nov 2009 and there was a gale nearly strong enough to blow me off my feet.

I grew up in Brighton. When I was a kid it was called palace pier and they never closed it in bad weather. One day it was windy as hell, standing at the end and a wave came up through the decking. I shat myself.

Lol you guys are halarious, I'm from California, and the waves are about the same size or smaller compared to ours, and we surf those all the time. :P
