As we traveled through Wisconsin in August 2007, we came across James Kotera, better known as the "Twine Ball Man."
I did a video interview of "JFK" about his twine ball. It was a real trip!! Just watch and listen...and Enjoy the Ride with his ball of twine....

JFK, if you ever get a DWI, because I'm sure you've drank a few in your life, tell the prosecutor that it takes 24 beers to make a case.

My step dad met this guy and at first didn't know about the ball of twine. While he was talking to JFK, he said that he started the ball of twine because of a visit from God. One day God walked into his house. He said "Wow. God. What are you doing in my house?" and God asked him to stop drinking, and in exchange God would make him famous.
Looks like it worked!
I love "Junior," which he apparently takes everywhere on his daily rounds at the city dump. XD Rock on, JFK!

Good work. RoadsideAmerica is a great site. Me and a friend are from England visited JFK and his twine ball in 2006. We attempted to film an interview, but were just too overwhelmed by the size of the twine ball to ask any decent questions. It's massive. Thanks for posting.
