this is nowhere near as bad as the NC made it out to be, its a low budget cartoon made in the 80's. the music is good, the backgrounds are detailed, the surreal nature of it is cool and its creative. I can let a few animation and dubbing problems slide when the rest of it is good.

I came here to see the ending and the nostalgia critic sent me, plus I might have not seen it in years (guilty pleasures). I don't know why The Nostalgia Critic (NOT Doug Walker) hates the ending, I thought the "Heart of Gold" line was lovable and laughable.

This movie, in spite of its disastrous end result, inspired me as a boy to get creative, so it's left a soft spot for me even in all its flaws.

What the hell just happened to the duke's voice???

As a kid I could never figure out what exactly happened to the Duke because the scene was so sloppily edited. Did the Master Cylinder just knock him over or did it crush him to death too? Was he even killed or did he just retreat? He just sort of disappears. And seeing as how some people here say he was killed and others say he retreated, it's still not clear what exactly his fate was.
