Is this video a comedy/spoof survival thing? I don't want to sound stupid if it is just a joke video.
Why not put the waterbottle into a back pocket, or something like that, and then let your body heat melt it? Alternatively, why not start a fire and melt some of that frozen water (snow or ice) around you?

instead of ruining ur water bottle u can melt just a lil bit of snow and then put the bottle into tht water and let the ice melt in the bottle

You still have to melt the water to drink it, so why not melt the water IN the bottle thus saving the container. To destroy a resealable container for nothing is poor survival technique.
