The handshake that drives me crazy is the one where they grab the tips of your fingers before they reach the crook of your thumb, then they shake hard enough to tear your arm off. I like having all ten fingers; please wait until we lock thumbs so you don't dislocate all the bones in my hand.

I hate people who touch hands when the shake arms, it's completely annoying and gross, why can't we just go back to gripping each other's fore-arms and shaking that way?

Omg, I know what you mean when people crush your hand. I stopped wearing my rings because whenever I'd shake a person's hand, they'd deathgrip my hand and I'd have these cuts wear my rings dug into my fingers. -.-""

O.o; The handshake was originally a traditional greeting which signified the very simple message "I do not have a weapon up my sleeve." Now people don't do it because they have weapons in their sleeves, in their socks, in their pants, between their breasts, in their purses, or simply consider themselves to be weapons and therefore cannot shake hands. o.O; Pills.

being in Tae Kown Do for nearly 12 years has left me with the habit of bowing when I shake hands. I get the weirdest looks anymore. For heaven's sake it's just a bloody hand shake with a Koren bowe, I'm just being polight and giving you some respect!
