I just had a thought. What if all those character bots were sentient and went into "And I Must Scream" mode when turned off? If Rolfe and Earl were disassembled last, think of what they would have experienced as they saw their best friends get essentially killed and replaced with these new people, knowing that soon this would be their fate...

I'd like to see them operate just one show with the robots without any cosmetics or very little, at least. Or like, keep the masks on but remove the eyeballs. Texas Chainsaw Massacre wouldn't have shit on that sort of thing.
