@IExposeMormonism: Science in the form of FEM is based on experiments, physics and logic—unless there’s a global conspiracy against mechanical engineers. Have you ever done any FEM analysis yourself or learned about it first hand? I have. The WTC towers were virtually hollow buildings, a short look at the technical drawings makes this immediately clear. The only parts that could absorb the kinetic energy of the plane effectively were inside the towers—the concrete floors.

@albedoshader Science in the form of cartoons is ruining simple logic. If you freeze frame this cartoon as the tail goes in, the plane do a little curtsy, the only way it would fit. And the way the wing tips, edges, tail and all just slip into the WTC is, well,unique. And having a plane explode not on impact but only After it's Fully inside, that was a nice touch, too. But how the plane entered the WTC without any de-acceleration is odd. Even a 'bunker buster' missile should slow a little
