@peterskm2 oh thank you so much peter. I smelt shocking and tasted worse im making another batch now and i will drink it and see what happens *Smiles*. I was concerned it had gone off, the temp wasnt to hot when i first made it. wish me luck haha thanks again cheers
@enchantinglyn Hi Lyn... I'm not Karyn nor do I work with her, but I did use to buy her rejuvelac and it's hard to get used to at first, especially if you are coming of a traditional diet. I think it is supposed to taste sort of like a "bad" lemonade (that after awhile you will crave and enjoy more than lemonade!) It smells like dirty socks; that is normal...The one variable I don't know is if you live in a really hot place, that could have "ruined" it...I think 70 is ideal for fermentation.
Thanks, Karyn for the video demo - This is great! I lived in Chicago and did your detox program a couple of times in 2004-2005. Now I live in Denver and am attempting to do it again from afar! I used to buy the rejuvelac at your shop, so making is will obviously be key now that I don't live close. Question for you: I know the amount of water you put it is subjective to taste, but is the general formula 2 c. sprouted wheat berries to 1 gallon of water? It was a little unclear to follow....
Hi Karyn i made my first Rejuvelac and it taste horrible. Its like its gone off. Its hard to describe the taste and smell. Could you tell me what its suppose to taste like and smell like please. Cheers Lyn xx
