i put an older set of screamin eagle 2 mufflers on my dyna superglide and it sounds meaner than hell. I have heard a lot of mufflers and straight pipes. I'm not trying to be loud. I like to hear it. personally I hate the sound of straight pipes. i like a nice low rumble when idleing

it is my first Harley but have been riding other bikes for years. all i can suggest is keep test riding until you really like one, that is the most comfortable, feels good and looks good.
