i think they use artists to do the lip syncing for the benefit of the audiences watching on tv. I guess to make the artist sound like they do in the music videos. I'm sure she actually performed for the live audience as the sound was blocked out.

She's definitely lip-syncing but I think it's just the show format cuz I watched a lot of artists on this show and they're lip-syncing too - Mandy Moore, Christina Aguilera etc. While she's lip-syncing, there are plenty of clips of her actually singing AND dancing to this song so no biggie. It's not like she couldn't sing live (see right hand panel lol) or was Manila Vanilli with it-no she wasn't

@swi45 And a hater is not a person who dislikes 1 or a few things minor about somebody, like i dislike this performance cos its not live I DONT CARE WHAT U THINK, shes good enough to sing live but she didnt so i didnt like it but a hater is somebody hating on a successful move and im far from a hater dont rinse out the damn word and i hope u dont go and make a "leave Britney alone" type of video cos of this LOL. calm down.
