Just two years ago I was the last grommet in my town (Viana do Castelo)... I remember walkin' at 15 years old from school to the beach all by myself prayin' for some other grommets to share the line up with me... At 28, after almost 12 years alone, I've decided to change that, and started a project to develop grommet surfing in my district... After 2 years in this adventure I almost only dedicate my time to them... and, the funny thing is that I've never felt more fulfilled in my life, I've never felt FREER than now. We drive two old VW's from 1973 & 1974 as you can see on the clip... so a new "sister" as an addition would be sweet 'cause new Portuguese law forbids us to drive kids under 16 in those old faithfulls... and yes, after minute 00:48 it's all footage about grommets less than 18 years old, whom except two of them surf for less than 2 years... Enjoy!!!
