Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Batman: The Animated Series, and The New Adventures of Batman and Robin all belong to DC Comics and Warner Bros. The purpose of this vid is NOT to distribute nor sell anything; it is only a montage of a specific topic in regards to the Batman character. Batman Kills

The big topic concerning Batman is whether or not he should kill. Some people claim that Batman only kills in the earlier films and that, because of this, he is not Batman. They are wrong 100% in both accounts.

Batman kills in every one of his films except one and regardless of this it is still Batman. DC gave the green light, thus, it is Batman. What some people fail to realize is that there are different VERSIONS of Batman. It's a simple concept really. People just want to argue over nothing because others like something they don't, (i.e. people like a certain Batman version that they do not and want to make baseless claims to seem like they are right).

Just enjoy the video.

  • Sooo......the whole point of this video is that you can't tell the difference between movies and comics? "Batman doesn't kill" is a comic book thing, when adapting the character into other forms of media, such as movies, it really doesn't count what the character does, since that's not the true version of the character.

What's next, a video where you point to all those nameless thugs that Batman dispatches in video games as proof of him killing?

  • @Richterdgf actually the whole point was to show those who say Batman only killed in the Burton and not Nolan are wrong. The video clearly states this. Your lack of reading comprehension is your problem.

Speaking of that Batman, is pretty brutal in Arkham Asylum/City. Those poor thugs wish they died.

  • didn't feel like watching three minutes of text.

  • @MrKugler sorry =)

  • So what if Batman kills?? Pretty much everyone he appears to be trying to kill are scumbag villains and thugs... I'd say most of them don't deserve to live and Batman is just ridding the world of them to save civilians.

  • Whether or not they are "real" batmen, there is a very fine line between noble avenger and crazy serial killer in a bat costume. It goes precisely where batman kills someone.

  • @chrismarcinko Hahahaah going point :D

  • Batman technically never kills anyone. When he pushes someone off a roof.. He doesn't kill them. Gravity does. When he throws someone in acid. The acid kills them. Not Batman. Gawd.

  • Not to be "that guy", but in Batman's early days, the character did carry a gun, and use it. It wasn't until later that the creators decided to omit the gun from Batman's arsenal.

  • Adam West never killed all you and your violent murderous new batmen

  • @yogenz I still didnt see batman KILL anybody in the movies atleast, like he said to Rash al ghul, "I dont have to kill you, but I dont have to save you either". A good example of this in real life is about 10 years ago, a guy and his freind were in vegas, they followed a little girl to the bathroom and one of the freinds raped and killed while the other one left. The one that left was never accused of any crime.

  • @Richterdgf you didn't watch the whole video did you?

  • This is one of the most sad and pathetic videos I have ever seen. Batman doesn't intentionally kill. That doesn't mean that people aren't placed in dangerous situations.
