Hundreds gathered in Mrak Hall to proclaim an overnight occupation of the building following the massive Davis strike rally on Tuesday, November 15. Media coverage was rampant, and while police officers stood watch outside, the group kept to its values of peaceful protest and consensus decision-making.

Students plan on joining UC Berkeley's Student Government and UCD's Student Regents early Wednesday for a press conference rally on the steps of the Capitol to lobby for reinvestment in public higher education.

  • @smalls6679 trolololol

  • @namdlaw obviously they care about their livelihoods over their education.

  • dirty hippies! Go get a job and contribute something to society!

  • Who let the occupy Starbucks movement into UC Davis' art & hipster program?

  • THAT EVIL WOMAN IS A PUPPET OF THE ELITE.

  • @aquariuscomfort Tea party has nothing to do with Corporattion. Its nothing short of crazy to think they are. It's propaganda. The Occupy people are pawns.. destroying American business is what the commies want. Killing the goose that lays the golden egg is stupid. We need to bust the corruption and parasites and international scammers and brorkers of all kinds that are parasitic. --NOT American business with ethics.and integrity. OWS are acting like jerks. Tea party are working people

  • @aquariuscomfort

You have the right to be as wrong headed and ignorant as you'd like. You have the right to protest for or against anything you'd like, whether it's idiotic, irrational, greedy, self centered, or in the case of the occupy movement - well who really knows.

I have the right, in fact I believe the responsibility, to stop you wherever I can and however I can from inflicting your liberalism on our great country.

Maybe someday you'll grow up and realize that liberalism = destruction

  • @TheRemonstration the Tea Party is misguided by corporations, but OWS is not guided at all however, for it is what is right and the human spirit which can not be defeated. it is mass group of individuals, that have come together for common purpose that they all feel. That is why there is no list of demands. We all know what demands are and so do the politicians, there is no need to list them. It is is something that has gone wrong with our country for along time.

  • @Pondo1221 if you do not like freedom and liberty maybe you should leave our country.

  • @souljhaus

I'd hope your parents were more mature, informed, and responsible than you children.
