  • that's fantastic! I've just come across Huun Huur Tu on here and I'm amazed, intrigued and lots of other words....I've noticed, though, that there are not many examples - on youtube - of females using this vocal technique. Is it easier etc. for men or just less usual for women? I've always been a singer 'of sorts' but I'm getting older and, to be honest, a little bored and would like a new challenge. Basically, what I am asking is: will it be harder to master because of my gender?

  • @michelecobb2 there are only differences in the range of overtones you can sing as a women. there are few less because of the length of the vocal folds. I know female overtone singers with a amazing sound singing overtones, so I would like to encourage you to use this challenge to extend your possibilities. PS: if you need support, skype is available ;-)

  • Thanks for uploading part 2! I've been practicing since I saw your part 1 video a year ago. Your videos are very helpful and easy to follow :)

  • @SlickNiK105 Thanx for your feedback...so should it be ;-)

  • @write2yibo its just practice and relaxation, you'll get it loud eventually

  • @MiroslavGrosser Many thanks

  • hi thanks for the videos :) i tried but i only get a tiny little overtone and a loud base tone (normal voice) :( ive listened to mongolia recordings before where the base tone is barely noticable.... how do you do that?? thanks!!

  • @AyanamisSlave me too...

  • Great video. I have been watching your video for a few days and managed to get very clear overtones, but I am trying to make them louder than the base tone... still eludes me :P

  • Excellent tutorial indeed ! Congrats, Miroslav!

  • This is so excellent! I can do it a little and it feels amazing, sort of like real magic!
