i dont care what the snobs say, opera is all about how loud your perfect voice is, and franco was the loudest perfect tennor ever, luciano was good with the high notes but lacks depth and volume, i like both, but prefer corelli in the dramatic roles like tosca turindot and paliacci.

I give the nod to Corelli over Del Monaco.
Two great artists with ENORMOUS and excitingly vibrant voices, no doubt about it.
But Corelli had both the power AND the greater capacity for softer dynamics. And his voice, being rounder and warmer that DM's, was more beautiful:).
