No. Most people don't put their hands on their hearts for the NA, only for the pledge of allegiance.

@redeniz90 I do not put my hand over my heart or remove my hat. It is NOT the outward expressions that make a man or president, IT IS THE HEART and ONLY GOD knows the heart. Let us clean our own back yard before we go knocking on others doors

@sogholi I agree with you, however when this was taken, Obama wasnt president. He was a US Senator and Presidential Candidate

@Michigan1985 He is not a secret muslim. he IS muslim.

I'm an American living in Canada. On 9/11 when this was song here in Canada at a small local park several, not all, but several Canadians put their hand over their hearts for the American national anthem. I'm sorry, but if they can do it, so can someone in Obama's position. If Canadians can show respect for a country that isn't theirs, so can the President of that country.

"United States Code, 36 U.S.C. § 301, states that during a rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart" from wikipedia, it does mention that there is no penalty for not doing it, as its protected under the first amendment. I think this basically is a "what a effin idiot" move by the president (like the many done by Bush). Wasn't deliberate, just stupid.

fuck obama

Why the long explanation as to obama's motives? Does the word "protocol" mean anything to you? pro·to·col: The customs and regulations dealing with diplomatic formality, precedence, and etiquette. In other words, "When in Rome, Do as the Romans do". I'm just sayin' everyone on that stage is doing it. But hey, let's let BHO slide, afterall, his most important formative years were spent in Indonesia. I don't suppose the pledge of allegiance was recited before class in his grammar school.

@sogholi Who says I agree with him?
Nobody. An assumption that already shows your lack of knowledge.
That's besides the point.
The fact that he had his hand in front of him in such a manner shows that he was respecting the anthem.
It's like saying the pledge in Texas.
Some people hold their hand on their heart, others hodl it away. Both showing respect to the flag.
...I was under the impression people only put their hand over their heart for the Pledge of Allegiance? When I go to sporting events I notice a few people doing it, usually older, which is fine...but what's the big deal? Fox news and Rush Limbaugh really did a good job of making you hate anything left of center. I bet a lot of you think he's a secret muslim too. There are a lot of legitimate criticisms to be made about Obama and I never hear it from you guys. Always this divisive crap.

ANYONE born and raised in America knows to put ones hand over ones heart when one hears the National Anthem. No matter how bad it is being sung. This video is proof enough that obama is NOT a Natural Born citizen. But yet, he did bow down to a Muslim Arab.
