Farmageddon in Chicago, December 2003 at the defunct Wabash Tap. It's a stark contrast to the acoustic, washboard-driven band we were 12 months earlier. This was the first gig with Jeff on Drums. Mike joins on synth. And, well, my Unabomber hair and beard's gone. I'm on the Telecaster again. This loud and lo-fi jam was caught on a camcorder in the back of the club. I tried to make it "taper's-quality" listenable despite the clipping. Of course, this is based on the Bobby Womack tune covered including the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead and a million others. See my Farmageddon playlist for more, generally cleaner recordings.

  • First off, I think tht's a Strat, not a Tele, and secondly, this is a kickass jam. Love it, Love it, Love it

  • @sloparts Haha, glad you liked it. I killed myself trying to recover the sound from this vid's considerably clipped camcorder audio. But yes, that is most definitely my old sunburst Telecaster -- blame the grainy video, not your eyes!
