I would try not to bring any firearms, mostly blunt melee weapons, food supplies, a walkie talkie, medical supplies and a knife

Might want to rethink your choice of handguns. Not sure if you know this or not but Taurus offers a lifetime warranty, and there is a reason for that. They are one of the worst firearm companies ever. Go get yourself a Glock 19 if you want a High-Cap 9mm.
