  • Thanks - Scelsi was fascinated by Hindu mythology. I think the music is suggestive of ancient, primal forces, and that comes across even if Scelsi's influences were not known.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I remember a friend of mine loaned me a CD with several orchestral works from Scelsi, including this one, more than 10 years ago. At that time I didn't like them! I did like his string quartets, but I don't know why I didn't like the orchestral works. I thank you for opening my ears now!
