The GE installation powered by Softkinetic's iisu™ 3D Middleware enables users to look at their bodies inside & out, viewing musculature, nervous and circulatory systems and ultimately their skeletons.
The module utilizes Softkinetic's iisu™ technology and in particular the full skeleton extraction system that tracks the exact movements of the user in real time. On top of the skeleton system, Brandfirst added a 3D animation to provide a full 3D real-time perspective.
"Softkinetic is always looking for innovative ways in which to utilize our award-winning technology to help improve people's lives," said Michel Tombroff, CEO of Softkinetic. "Enabling users to become visually aware of the inner workings of their bodies in 3D and real time will help not only to educate them but also hopefully bring to light the importance of having an active lifestyle."
"We have worked very closely with the Softkinetic team to ensure we have an entertaining and engaging experience while providing proper medical imagery information," said Philippe Delhez, CEO, Brandfirst. "This highly innovative demonstration helps General Electric to promote its health and fitness initiatives called healthyimagination, and to benefit the public as well."
