  • Fantastic. You know the hat makes it. You could have thrown it to the ground at the end of the second "unsuccessful" act. That cable put extra suspense in - YES!! He drives off with it! I subscribed to your channel because I hope there will be a lady with a scarf at some point.

  • I will have to get a second seat installed before the lady will come anywhere near getting in the car. I have a couple of water leaks to fix, then get the transmission tunnel finished. Maybe then. Definitely some more videos coming "down the road".

  • 1:59 and its still not starting?

  • I had the CAS wiring wrong. No trigger, no start. First start is at 3:10 in the video. UTUBPLEASE suggested edditing the first part out. I don't want to edit it out as it's part of the story, but I sure could have made those segments shorter. Not a lot of added information. In real time, it took me 20 minutes to get it started. Not bad after working on it for 18 months.

  • do all that with a pipe still in your mouth and id swear you were my paw paw :)

  • It sounds like a bridge port on the first start.

    Nice..

  • @drbaltazar

rotary engines why a ton...heavy as most small blocks....due to high heat engine produces...

  • What happened to the original engine.I hope you didn't hack up the Alpine to get the rotary in.

  • "A lady with a scarf," like Isadora Duncan?

Will the hood be put back on?

My mechanically inclined cousin put a Ford V8 in my '67 Alpine back in '70...project never finished...

  • ya that engine is so light check the front end how high it is lol!

  • Not to sound negitive, but why on earth did you take the original engine out? I would seem to me that it would've been a lot more time effective, and more cost effective to just leave the original engine in it, or sell the car and get something different, or put a more compatable engine in it, say a ford or buick V8, which has been done before, it's called a Tiger.

  • RIP Bob :(

  • Awesome! Nice job :)
