reminder that 4chan's /v/ is a place where people scoff and get a genuine superiority trip over others enjoying Call of Duty and take their 'hardcore gamer' identity dead seriously.
not defending this video (it's an overemotional overreaction to generic internet trolling and it was definitely a mistake on Edmund's part), or saying /v/ doesn't have genuinely intelligent posters too, but I'm willing to bet 90% of the people mass-downvoting this and circlejerking in the comments aren't any better.

@dudewutyeah maybe there's another incident that I don't know about, but as far as I know people are just referring to the TheBestGamers incident when they say this. at least, that's the only thing I've seen mentioned as an example of Edmund outright dismissing fans.
TBG is a 'wacky, zany, ironic' site and they clearly contacted him on AIM for the purpose of pestering him for laughs because, well, that's what they do. can you really blame him for not taking them seriously?
