Minish Cap TAS WIP Part 1 Take 3

A bunch of things are changed in this video.

1) I switched to the (U) Rom. it slows the title screen a bit, but there's no language selection thing.
2) I made my name shorter. This saves time in name entry and text, so why the hell not?
3) I was planning on not changing text speed, but holding B on normal is slower than holding B on fast, so I left that in there.
4) I payed more attention to walking vs. rolling in certain situations.
5) I did a lot more testing for making sure I do something on the first frame possible.

Well...I'm just doing this for fun. I'm not actually anywhere near finishing it, and I might not. Also, I don't entirely understand how the ocarina glitch works, so once i get to that point, it may take a while for me to get anything productive done.

Hi, I am also making a TAS of Minish Cap. Are you still making yours? I have completed up to the final blow on the Giant green Chu boss and have just collected the Earth Emerald.

I will gladly back down if yours is faster...

Could you pleas post a video of your speedrun up to the final blow on the Ginant green Chu Boss so I could see whose is faster?

I am uploading my TAS to my final blow on the Chu boss as I type this so plz check it out on my channel to compare our runs.

The ocarina glitch is easy to perform for a TAS. First off, it only works on some doors. You need to back up to the door by charging your sword and backing into it until you cannot go further. Then pause the game and frame advance one frame towards the door, then another frame towards the door again AND with the Ocarina button. It should work.
