  • Breath much?

  • I'm singing this song on one of my classes and the gasping is because he's physically exhausting himself trying to spit all the words out. It's so freaking HARD!

  • What the hell. Perfect

  • He's. So. Hot.

  • I saw the original pre-Broadway production in summer 1976 with Patti LuPone, Topol and in this role, Kurt Peterson. Max Von Essen is indeed perfectly cast and delivers a stunning rendition of Proud Lady. Max is underused on Broadway because of the existence of Matt Morrison and Cheyenne Jackson and Jon Groff. Now that all 3 are making TV stardom their thing, perhaps Max will get his due!

  • Max was awesome in this. And this is the way this should be sung...

the right tempo and passion. We should see more of him...no? Fiero? Cable? Fabrizio? Marius? Why is Broadway not using him?

  • I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He is perfect! Too bad Alice was horribly miscast!
