As long Adobe makes software to Windows I have to use Windows.. when their software comes to Linux I have no reason to use Windows.

@martynfuk Also here Finland.. okay you do not pay from Linux.. but here Finland you pay only a License of Windows and every schools, universities, collages here is free of charge and there is Windows courses for free as much you want.. even Windows come free of charge with computer you pay from super store... but with Linux.. common people instead us who are computer specialists and makes courses with price for these common people who do not know anything about computers..
-
@martynfuk Sorry you misunderstodf... for support to use Linux you need to pay. But if you're familiar with computers you do not need to pay "NASA" courses to Howto Use Linux.

@i4ware "if you need hosting for you web site or blog you need pay.. so Linux is not free.."
WTF are you talking about? Linux is completely free and as you say in your ill informed statement, it is the HOSTING that you pay for not linux. If on the other hand you wish to have a support contract (as with ANY other OS) you will normally have to pay for it.
In more than 10 years I have never had to pay even one penny for software or support for the Linux servers I have built.

Messy registery.. make apt-get install apache2 and apt-get remove apache2 plus few more mistakes and see the "blackscreen".. the Linux replacement for Microsoft Windows "bluescreen" on Debian of course.. Linux is made for web servers and if you need hosting for you web site or blog you need pay.. so Linux is not free..

GNU is not a license.. there is LGPL, GPL, AGPL, and all of these licenses are diffrent. Like with LGPL you can copy the code and use it on your Closed Source Software and ask price as long you do not make changes to source code.. so thats why LGPL is an libraries.. GPL and AGPL were a copyleft licenses and all source code copied with GPL come to be always GPL.. if you have no full copyright ownership that makes you an option to do fuck you want with the source code..

@heydude09876 Ugh. Such ignorance. Both Mac OSX and Linux are based on UNIX system, which would force them to have some similarities. Plus, Mac OSX (not OS 9 and below, OSX) was released in 2001, while ubuntu was released in 2004. And ubuntu only became well known until two years later. And even though GNOME was released in 1999, it's gui was similar to the one on windows 95 until GNOME 2.0 which came out in 2002, a year later.
On a different note, the video editing here is approaching genius - it's like video turntablism.
