    It is very refreshing to see a minister reaching out to the public in this way. I agree with the conclusion of the Sainsbury Review that if the UK is to remain competitive in the future, science and innovation have a very important role to play. Initiatives like this one by Ian Pearson help bring interest and awareness to the issue.
