i love the choreography and the nurses outfits, but honestly... microphones? expecially for a school with only 400 kids, cant be a big auditorium... Learn to sing out to the crowd and be heard! SING LOUD! AND PROUD!

maybe your speaakers aren't working properly b/c it sounds loud and clear to me? our auditorium is actually one of the nicest in ky. it holds almost 2000 but we were using a brand new sound system.

Our high school did something similar. Except, we had the urchins to the side and 40 girls in nurses outfits working on 40 terrified boys in dentist chairs..

Our nurses outfits were very similar, though.

The nurse's outfits and tooth paintings kind of give away the surprise that he's a dentist, but otherwise, this is pretty good.

Yes, the girls are always the girls (thanks for pointing that out, I had NO idea), but that doesn't mean they're unable to adapt. And technically this scene can take place wherever you want- we had the lights dim and it turn into a new scene when Orrin went to pick up Audrey. Plays are meant to be adapted and interpreted, especially musicals like this one. We did this play, and we definitely weren't this liberal with the script, but I applaud them for taking a chance and making it their own.

The Girls are always the Girls. They do not randomly become Sexy Nurses or more uptight just because the scene changes.

And technically speaking, they ARE on Skid Row, since Orin comes to pick up Audrey at the Florist's.

Um, it's called originality. Ever heard of it? I'm guessing not. The great part about the girls is they can switch for almost every song. Obviously they have to be a little more ghetto for Skid Row, but they can play this however they want. Jeez.
