READ PART ONE FIRST!!

[Six hours later- 10:00p.m.- Addy's pov]

Joe's here. Nick went home awhile ago and talked to him, then they came back. Nick and Alyssa are sitting on my couch and Joe's sitting on the floor while I'm stuck alone on the loveseat. Were watching Dumb and Dumber. I know its Joe's favorite movie, but he hasn't laughed once. It ended about twenty minutes later so we all just sort of sat there awkwardly. "Uhh. I think Alyssa and I are gonna go for a swim." Nick said, standing up before helping Alyssa off the couch. "Okay." I responded, realizing it was about to get even more awkward. We literally sat there for-oh I'd say twenty minutes before I said something.

"How've you been?" I asked, not bothering to look at him because I knew he wouldn't look at me anytime soon. "How've I been? How have I been? What do you care? You left me Addison. We were supposed to be best friends forever according to you. What the fuck happened to that?" he yelled, turning to look at me after all. "Joe. You're the one that told me you didn't want to be my friend anymore. I couldn't fight back because I knew you wouldn't listen to me. And you ran away for gods sake!" I screamed, feeling tears form at the rims of my eyes. "Okay Addison. First of all. You chose Kevin over me when you promised not to date either of us. You said you wanted to stay friends with the BOTH of us. What the fuck happened?" he questioned, visible tears in his eyes as well. "Joe. He kissed me and I just-I couldn't not be with him, okay? I'm sorry I ever hurt you. I shouldn't have went out with him. He just ended up breaking my heart like every other fucking guy in the world. I don't know why I even bother." I admitted, letting a few tears fall. "I'm sorry too. I over reacted. I realized it after I walked away from you that day. I didn't want to turn around and admit it though. And then I found myself never wanting to, that's why I ignored you. It was wrong of me, but you can't blame me. I really liked you. And you know I would never do anything close to what Kevin did to you." Joe explained, coming up to sit by me on the couch.

I couldn't speak. I was crying too hard. All the years I didn't talk to Joe was just too much. It was all hitting me now, like a ton of bricks. He pulled me into a hug and let me cry on his shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him and cried harder. "We're friends again, right?" Joe asked, pulling away slightly. "I was hoping you'd say something along those lines." I admitted, nodding my head. "Good. I missed you Addy." he said, kissing me on the cheek.

I couldn't help myself. I grabbed him by his face and kissed him right on the lips. It was quick, but sweet. "I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself." I confessed, putting my hands in my lap and looking down. "Dont be sorry." he said, setting his hand on my leg. "Who's up for some hide and seek!?" Nick yelled, running in the house, Alyssa in tow. Joe started coughing and stood up from the couch. He stretched, which made his shirt lift up, which allowed me to see his stomach. "Uhh. Maybe thats not such a good idea Nick." Alyssa said, walking back towards the patio door. Since they were holding hands Nick had no choice but to go with her. "Well uhm...what do you wanna do?" I questioned, watching as Joe sat back down next to me. "Hmm...Id say make-out, but I'd be afraid they'd walk in on us again." Joe said, putting his arm around me. I looked at him and laughed, soon realizing he wasn't kidding. I grabbed his hand and led him upstairs into my bedroom.
