cool vid bro,you seem pretty comfortable with that thing,i wrote a beat on mine and it ended halfway through the 5th measure,do you know if theres anyway to get it to go straight back to the 1st,cause the last 2 beats of the 5th measure are just quiet and i need to get rid of those rests there
-
Nice beats! Two problems I have occasionally are I cannot figure out to erase a section of a pattern if I screw something up (the manual I have is for the 223), and sometimes if I want to add a sound from another kit to my pattern, the machine will shift the whole pattern to that second kit?
-
@squeakD i think it save the tempo of songs (and patterns within the songs) but not for pattens in the pattern setting.
-
@squeakD dont for get to press the 'rec' button to set the change once youve select your desired bar length.
-
Hey how do you get your patterns to save for song mode? I have been trying to figure this out for almost a year now.
-
okey thanks for replying! then i just write the tempo in the pattern/songs name. No big deal! but i gona check the manual too!
-
inaudible in the mix anyway
-
I think I've picked that up a few times on the Streetboxx too. Doesn't happen too often though.., and not loud enough to cause a problem.
-
yeah, have you ever noticed aliasing? on my 223 sometimes when listening through headphones i can hear a distinct aliasing sound, once i hear it i can't seem to stop hearing it.

We "technically" have the same drum machine..., mine just has a different patch set and patterns :)
-
damn, same colour as mine
-
Nah.., it's partly due to the lighting and the camera :) The lights are actually darker. My camera has 3 rec settings. The best is High Def., but in that format even a short vid clip file is huge. I use the setting in the middle.., keeps the file size down.

are the lights on the streetboxx pink? or is it just the camera, i could use some funky pink lights on my rt-223 :D

hey nice videos.. I got a question is there a way to save the bpm/tempo information in a pattern/song? I should look in the manual later but you maybe knows?

If I remember correctly the tempo on the SB is a global thing. I could be wrong, but I don't recall ever seeing anywhere in the manual where you can save the tempo per pattern. Again, I could be wrong and would have to look at the manual. I do know I saw in the manual at one time that it said the tempo set in pattern mode applies to ALL patterns. I'll have to look deeper into this one :)
