And another music video tribute to the movie "Seoul" - this time even more 'gay', so if you don't find such things funny, don't watch this vid.

I subtitled the songtext, because I tried to fit the movie footage to it, but the lyrics are in Japanese.

Yeah, they originally sing "city boy" and "get it disco" but it really does sound way different...

Note: The music video is a bit old and was made with a program even worse than Movie Maker, because it was done on Win95. So please excuse bad cutting of the scenes and the like, I tried to do my best.

The song's title is "City Boy" from the japanese band "Orange Range"

The meaning really is "City", but since the Japanese language has no "C" they use "Shi" to transcripe it and that's why it sounds like "Shitty" :D

got a little question since you are from germany = isn't almost all movies in germany being dubbed before they are being shown on tv?

I like Nagase, too. As a singer he's really good, but as an actor he's also very funny somehow, don't ask me why ^^;

Yes, in Germany they dub almost everything. In the case of "Seoul" they only dubbed the Japanese speech 'though and just subtitled the Korean ones. I personally think the dubbings are okay, most of the time, but the originals are the best, usually :-)

It is City, you are right but It could be 2 meanings right? Orange Range saying Shitty or City, personally I think it has 2 meanings both Shitty and City coz' people in japan nowadays could pronounce CITY easily.
