im scared to freaken dip like u said it takes a while just to go KAPLOW on the floor im just scared of like hurting my self like breakin my damn leg or having my knee pop out of my socket u know stuff like that

its funny how u said it takes a while, i saw Shangela doing it from drag race and tryed it out and im good at it. but i do kaate and kickboxing training so my legs are toned and trained so there flexable. also when i drop i dont put my hands on the floor mine is always out.

@Gamingslave just watch out if u feel that in ur knees you're way overloaded... i injured my knee learning dips. yes, you have to have good flexibility in your knee and quads and if you can't develop it you can't do dips, but don't push any stretches hard--if it doesn't go painlessly, it's not for you. just fyi--knee ligaments don't grow back if torn and need surgery and if u destroy catrilage--this can not be repaired and requires knee replacement when u get older. don't mess around with knees

how flexible do you have to be to dip????...do you have to be capable of doing frontward splits, before you can dip?????

@Ardelbert really??? then I'm terribly outta shape cus... when I dip with my leg back I feel a lot of strain and tension in my thyroids...O___O and when I attempt a duck walk my knees could almost pop... I need to work out... lmfao

@Gamingslave jus stretch babe before you vogue. that helps alot. and sit in a duck walk position for about 1 min and 30 sec. then do that every once in a while and your legs will adjust to the new formation your body makes when u vogue.
