Named after Canadian geologist George Dawson, Dawson City's population surged during the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 19th century.

Dawson City boasts a rich, colorful history, and remains a popular destination for visitors in the Yukon Territory. Explore some of the area's most popular activities -- including a tour of the restored buildings with an interpretive guide, and a drink at Diamond Tooth Gertie's.

  • @gabe45jordan how do you like it?

  • Dawson reminds me of Skagway a bit, given the old western town feel to it (was there on a cruise to Alaska last summer).
