A segment from Michael Moore's TV Nation (1994) in which an actor is hired to move into a nice, quiet neighborhood and act like a serial killer - burying things in the yard, throwing out bloody mattresses, etc. Will the neighbors take notice?

Try pulling this in an upper class neighborhood. Even the neighbors of Jon Benet Ramsey, and Dylan Klebold were fooled. This Michael Moore garbage doesn't prove a thing.

@dogsmumm I don't think there's supposed to be any moral thread in this story, it's just a humorous observation of how we rarely interact with our neighbours (which is more true today that at any time in our history) and on that basis, you shouldn't be surprised if the guy living next to you turns out to be a serial killer.

So the moral of this story is that people need to be more paranoid, and more nosy about their neighbor's business. My neighbors leave me alone and I do the same. Should we be trying to outlaw axes and tree trimmers? Do you want the police at your house because you store things in barrels instead of plastic boxes from Home Depot? Grow up Michael Moore.
