Use this metaphor with any sample I wish would be cool. Uploading like with Curtis would do it. Man u guys are stealing all my ideas about circular sequencing ;-) Hope I will finish my sequencer before everything is drained and established!

I like this app a lot - it's a new take on things for the iPhone/iPod. There are other apps out there if you want metronomic timing - please don't make grids!

I don't understand the need for such a high resolution in timing, that just makes it easier for an amateur (such as myself) to make stuff that sounds off time and sloppy. Like you say Logic (an industry standard) only runs at 960ppqn, 22050 ppqn is gratuitous. Can that even be addressed on the iPhone screen?
I'd be more interested in creating my own sounds in the app for looping, tempo change, and effects all on the one page. But that's just me.

You are quite right, the timing resolution supersedes the screen resolution. Our post regards the spirit of the design, rather than this particular implementation. We want our groove back; we want beats that slop and swing. What we like about Spoke is that you can nudge, adjust, massage your loop. If the user community wants grids, we will bend, but for now, we like it sloppy.
What do you mean by "creating my own sounds"? Do you have something specific in mind?
